Forest School

We are very excited that we can offer Forest School for some of our pupils. Miss Hughes, our deputy headteacher, is a qualified Forest School Leader and she takes the lead supported by Mrs White, a teaching assistant who is also qualified to lead Forest School. 

We are very proud to offer Forest School as part of our curriculum at Broughton Fields. Miss Hughes and Mrs White led sucessful Forest School sessions. We started doing this in Autumn 2019 with year 5 and early spring 2020 with year 3 but, sadly, the pandemic meant it came to an abrupt end. 

Thankfully, in the summer of 2021 we were able to restart sessions and these took place with Foundation Stage. Now, we are back to our plan where each child will have their Forest School experience for 3 half term blocks as they move throught he school.

This year, Year 5 will start in March, followed by Year 3 and Year 1 later in the Spring and Summer
