'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers tells the story of a boy and a penguin. One day the boy opens his front door to find a penguin standing on his doorstep. He decides to help it find its way home even if it means rowing all the way to the South Pole across stormy seas. The children took to their 'boats' in the classroom and with the help of a video of a storm at sea, sound effects and a hand held water spray, experienced the boy and penguin's journey!
Autumn 1 - Rainforest Explorers

Our Rainforest Shoeboxes!
Using dienes apparatus to help us with addition.

We made some biomes to act like rainforests and investigated if seeds needed light to germinate.
